Introductory Post

Hello all! Welcome to the DFWRPM blog site. We thought it would be a good idea to introduce ourselves and explain that this is a site that combines two different businesses as well as two different blogs. On this site will we may add our individual posts as well as co-written posts. We come from two different backgrounds and have two different writing styles, but hopefully, you will come to appreciate and enjoy both!

Danielle Francingues earned her Master’s degree in Special Education from McNeese State University in 2012 and was a Special Education teacher for over 11 years. She has been a private tutor, on the side, for the past 5 years and has also started taking advocacy cases. She has previously been trained in ABA and is now working towards becoming a certified RPM provider, having completed the HALO introductory course in June of 2018. She has worked with learners of all abilities and would eventually like to open a small school for learners with disabilities.

Adriana Barriga is a Certified RPM Provider in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences. Since returning to Fort Worth, Texas in 2012, she has been practicing RPM with various students across the metroplex. She began her formal RPM training in July of 2014, completing the introductory course at HALO in Austin, Texas. In 2015, she was invited to complete the internship at HALO, training with the creator of RPM Soma Mukhopadhyay.
